Sonam Lhosar

Updated: Dec 19, 2021

On the occasion of Sonam Lhosar, the team of Let’s Clean Up Nepal‘s contributed a little to the waste management of the huge event by installing recyclable sacks as dustbins at Tundhikhel ground which was very well achieved. We also put out our official posters along with the bins displaying the message “Act now for tomorrow”. Our goal was/is to change the mindset of people that their personal efforts to keep the environment clean can make a difference. We want people to use bins and not litter elsewhere. It is very important to make sure people manage their own wastes properly as it is our responsibility to care for the environment. It is high time we give back to environment. With all the environmental disasters that we’re facing around the world, we need to make sure we give our best from our own personal levels to protect and fight for the environment.

We walked the rally with our enthusiastic team of volunteers and would like to thank each and everyone present for taking time out of their busy schedules in helping spread awareness. And especially, we would like to thank Mr.Bijay Lama, the head of the organizing committee, for his positive response towards our effort and letting us spread awareness and be a part of this celebratory moment.
